Drawing from attachment-based and emotion-focused family therapies, family therapy aims to improve communication, build trust and resolve conflict within the family system.
General supervision and consultation is available to clinicians and students. My training background is predominantly emotion focused, attachment and family therapy focused, trauma focused approaches.

Cassandra is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist and specializes in trauma, eating disorders and family therapy with additional focus on anxiety, grief, emotion processing, perfectionism, OCD and supporting caregivers of loved ones with mental health challenges. Cassandra offers individual therapy for individuals ages 12 years +. Cassandra also offers clinical supervision and is approved for CRPO.
Stacey is a Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in trauma, anxiety, grief, emotion processing and stress management. Stacey offers individual therapy for individuals ages 11 years+. Stacey also offers clinical supervision and is approved for CRPO.
Deborah is a registered psychotherapist with CRPO and has been providing clinical services in urban and rural areas for 20yrs. She specializes in addiction, stress, anxiety, and depression and has recently focused on farmer mental health for the past 5 years.
Stephanie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. Stephanie specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Anger Management, Addiction Concerns, Stress and Relationship Difficulties. She works with individuals, couples, kids/teens and welcomes those in the LGBTQ+2 community.
My work focuses on individual adults of all ages, along with care givers, teachers, young adults and post secondary students experiencing anxiety, low mood, life transitions, work stresses, feeling stuck or dealing with concerns such as fatigue, burnout, and overwhelm. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space in which individuals can explore and identify the concerns, issues and hopes in their lives. I work from a client-centred, trauma-informed point of view and customize my approach for each individual. The approaches I use include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), strengths focused, mindfulness and humanistic psychotherapy.
Tara is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a master’s degree in counselling psychology. Tara wants to support you in creating your path toward self-discovery and healing and help you regain control and power in your life. She draws from 18 years of varied experience, including roles as a Clinical Therapist, Police Constable, Correctional Officer, and Child Protection Worker. In therapy, she focuses primarily on emotion regulation, stress and burnout, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship/work/school/social challenges. Tara works with adults, youth (12+), couples, and families.
Heather is a Registered Social Worker who is in the final stages of completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology. Heather has over 5 years prior frontline experience working in a counselling capacity and comes with a vast knowledge of trauma. Heather works from an integative approach approach to therapy intended to meet you where you are at. Heather is available to see individual youth and adults as well as couples and is on-site with us Tuesdays and Fridays.
Mackenzie joins Napanee Psychotherapy with experience in crisis mental health as well as anxiety depression, addiction, suicide intervention and trauma. Mackenzie embraces an integrative approach to psychotherapy in order to meet your unique needs and is on site Mondays and Thursdays with evening availability.
Nicole comes to Napanee Psychotherapy with prior experience working as a behaviour therapist with both children and adults. Nicole focuses on emotion regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, relationship issues and is highly experienced in working with ADHD and Autism as well. Nicole utilizes an ecclective approach that will tailor your experience in therapy to you needs. Nicole is onsite Mondays and Wednesdays, including evenings, and may be available other times upon inquiry.
Emily has a degree in Behavioural Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and is now completing her Master's in Counselling Psychology. Emily has over five years previous experience in the field and also works with younger children! Emily embraces an integrative, person-centered and trauma-informed approach. Emily is dedicated to her role as a psychotherapist and is available to support you with anxiety, low mood, trauma processing, emotion regulation, perfectionism and more. Emily has daytime and evening appointments for children, youth and teens.
Damien is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), has a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Music from Queen's University, and is completing the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program at Yorkville University. Damien is also a certified yoga instructor and has found significant benefits mentally, emotionally, and physically through such practices. Damien is committed to helping you with challenges you may be facing, whether from trauma, anxiety, or difficult life transitions, and is dedicated to doing so in a non-judgmental, supportive, compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative way and using integrative and holistically-focused approaches. Damien has daytime and evening appointments available for youth and adults.
